Good Ol' Ocean Sunfish!!
I always got a chuckle out of these things when I was a kid... They are basically gigantic heads swimming around.

I imagine it would have been unreal!!
Unfortunately I have never seen one in person... As a child I was always obsessed with fish and fishing (Still am!). I was going through fish ID books over and over and always laughed when I got to this guy.

Strangest fish I have seen is the frog fish and that was in the aquarium in Hawaii.
Even with fishing the detroit river and great lakes I never saw anything so deformed....... heck nothing I caught was deformed for that matter.
Not sure I want to run into a Mola Mola...

Actually supposed to be very placid. Just kind of drift around. Definitely not a shark type build.

Back when the water was warmer we saw a sunfish each time we fished at Langara. Now the water is colder they are not around as much. Most that swing in die from higher water temps I hear although there are lots of jellyfish for them to eat.
