Motorguide Shaft Removal

I cracked the shaft on my 75lbs thrust Motor-guide. I am looking for directions on the shaft removal as mine in not under warranty, so I will be replacing my self. Thanks Tom

Still looking for help on this matter. I researched internet and well tried a butane torch at the motor and well the shaft split and broke off so now threaded shaft is stuck in motor. So I tried to drill it out but the threads are filled with the fiberglass from the shaft. Any suggestions. Thanks

Possibly you could rethread it using a tap and die set, following the original threads just to clean it out of the fiber glass that's now stuck?!
