Hey guys, as the title says "whats your favourite jig colour and what do you like to tip it with?"
Ill start us off, I like to use a quarter ounce lime green jig tipped with a lively leech. :)

every thing that swims eats the yellow twister tail. I found a two tone chartruse power bait curly tail, walleye cant seem to resist in waters open to bait.

White seems to produce the most consistantly for me, black has its days as well. Half a crawler works good on the days when you need to tip them.

Love a pink headed Fireball jig with a stinger and a minnow or a leech. Never fails.

Chartreuse yellow minnow tipped I always had better luck with the fuzz and feathers than rubber.... I feel like the chanelle jigs have a more natural movement in the water. And when I tie my own a strand of peacock hurl adds underwater sparkle and flash..... And I tied a few with strictly hurl and they worked great . . Almost too good those pike would destroy 2 hours of work in seconds before any walleye could get to it

When I tip with bait I prefer a more subtle plastic body, either a fuzzy grub or tube jig. For fishing with no bait twister tails are king though.

usually 1 inch black or 1 inch white, but any jig will do.
