So for everyone wandering how it is to spray box liner in your alluminum boat it works amazing I sprayed the inside complete seats n all taped off the trim and the outside I did bottom half rubber top half redneck green(camo with stensils) in a cat tail n reeds pattern no more leaks at all and it didnt add much weight maybe 20 pounds the ****s called leak seal 12bucks a can and I used ten inside and four outside so for 150 bucks I just pimped my ride lol catch yall on the water

If you could find a pic of it, that would help with the visual.

Nice work on sealing up your boat, but like others said you are gonna cook on a hot day. Is that the stuff that you see on TV where they put a screen door in the bottom of the boat? If it is I'm pretty sure you can paint it, and you may want to look into that...

Thanks for the pic ! Its a great idead and I think it will work well for you. Keep a good stock of water to hydrate with and you will be fine.

Ya its that same stuff from tv I think and to be totally honest it wasnt much hotter than the shiny silver lol but it stopped all the leaks and almost feels like a new boat my grandpa used this boat since before I was even born and was passed on to me I can remember times in this boat when I was just a kid xo its nice to see it live on I truly recomend this to anyone with a leaky boat and you bet you can paint it but it makes it easy to see anything on the floor

That looks pretty good to me. Did you order the stuff from the tv or buy it locally?

Cheers.

i got it at home depot they got lots by the caulking and paint i sealed all the seams with caulking then gave her two good coats of rubber spray. it from at least a foot or two so it gets a nice even texture then once it drys touch it up and im gonna keep a can around incase i ever scrape it up and it dried in minutes too btw

Did you put a screen door in the bottom of the boat first? LOL. Let us know how it holds up. Check your ***** for griddle marks. the sun will make those seats pretty hot!!
