Hey all,
I'm leaving for my annual month long trip to Belize in a few days to do some fly fishing with my buddies. I have a saltwater fly set-up I bought off a guy that I leave down there, but I want to pick up another rod and reel before I leave. The cheaper the better because I only fish these waters once a year. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

I'll be there from the 7-14 of Sept. I will be lagoon and reef fishing throughout. Are you using a guide?

I just booked our Honeymoon in Belize for January. Really looking forward to doing some snorkeling and some fishing. Might dive as well.

Where do you stay? and where do you usually fish?

Depends where you are going. Are you staying on the mainland or heading out to the cayes?

My family has a house on Ambergris Caye. I normally go out with a guide once or twice during the month but I know the spots pretty well. I go out on my own. I'll be there until the 10th if you want to get a guide for the day with my buddy and I.

What is your budget per night? I have stayed at a few places in San Pedro.

Hey there,
Do you go down there this time of year, all the time. I have found a fantastic fishing spot there with my wife two years ago. I have been looking for a serious fisherman to accompany me since. Not in the ocean, so no bone fish. But plenty of tarpon....huge 80-200lbs animals. Seriously scary! I am intriged to learn of someone who also spends time there. I could not go back until the new year. But if this interests you we could chat on another forum.
