Worms were about 1 to 2 inch long very thin almost translucent. Belly had a large amount of little yellow orange eggs.

Do whats called a gutless method then you will not see what in stomach and the fillets will be fine if you hold up to a lite you will see if they are in meat i find that the small whites can have some which i cut out the bigger over 1 1/2 # are mostly ok..

Never encountered a wormy white yet. Sounds gross.

Years ago I bought a frozen whitefish from the grocery store. After I cooked it, and started to seperate the meat off the bones, I found a bunch of 1-1.5 inch long worms in the back meat. Totally grossed me out, and I've never bought a whitefish out of the store again.
