Moyie Lake

Has anyone ever fished Moyie Lake in BC (south of Cranbrook). I am curious what depth the fish might be at in late August. I am hoping to catch some good size Rainbows as well as some Kokanee. I might also try for some Burbot at night....I am still waiting to catch my first Burbot.

A few years ago I kicked around Moyie with the belly boat till it got too windy, lost a nice rainbow on the fly....there are a couple of smaller nice looking fishing lakes up above Moyie, just keep going on the sideroad past the Moyie Provincial Park entrance...I think the top lake is called Mitchell...
