Fawcett Lake, going tomorrow...

Just curious if anyones been able to land any walleyes there over 30cm's...

Went and only caught 6 walleye over 9 hours, and biggest was only 43 cms.


Is it worth going, or should we just go to Slave like I said for keepers?

iam there sat and maybe sunday till next wed the 29 .was good few weeks ago I didnt have tape mrasure but they was close to the 50cm ,they have to be 50cm this year .bounced white jigs woth no bait got about 60 in 4 hrs

Was there last weekend and fishing ea slow across te lake got well over 30 fish between 2 of us for about. 5 hours of fishing. Maybe 5 fish were in between 48cm and 50cm. All released... But that's the usual luck we get on fawcett. 3 weekends ago we got caught in one those big rainstorms rained overnight Saturday and all day Sunday till about 7:30pm. When we went out on the lake afterwards the action was hot. I caught my limit before sunset. With one big hog of a walleye at 24"... So the big fish are still there! The problem I think is the locals. Since they raised the size restrictions people had trouble catching legal fish for a while and got tired of not eating it. And now they're to many fish coming out of the water before they hit that 50cm... Just my opinion.
