Want to my 5yr daughter out fishin. Does anyone know where i can find a small lake or pond around Edmonton, where i can catch some perch, or trout.

Pick up a copy of Alberta fishing guide it gives directions and fish species for most lakes and rivers.Available at Canadian Tire etc.

north of the city there is cardiff, morinville, and legal trout ponds.

well vegreville i heard is good for both and there is hermitage trout pound but its really over run with weeds

Try the NSR or Pembina..... nice easy walleye and goldeye to catch.

For tiny perch - Vegreville trout pond for sure. Overloaded with perch. Use a tiny jig under a slip-float. Maggots for bait. Great for little kids (and some big kids too ... :) )

not sure if they still stock broadmoor. thought they stopped years ago and it's not on stocking report. perhaps privately?
cardiff is nice for kids.

I would like to suggest Vegreville Resivor pond. you can catch fish, Very slim pickings, Over fished. Lamont trout pond on Hwy 29 is a good one to fish.
