Ice on Newell

Anyone been by Newell latley, just wondering what the ice situation is???
I amagine shore fishing is good to go, just wondering if you can get a boat in?

Nope-ers, shes still holdin.... Wanted to drop the boat and go on Saturday, but friday there was only open water on the edges to approx 30 yards-ish on average. This norther blew in and im afraid its gonna be ice fishing for the next year now!!

Went out to the north end of Newell today and its open almost all the way to the south. The launch at the marina is still iced over so thought I'd take the hound for a run tonight to the park and see about that one will post that tommorow. If it stops snowing might be able to get the boat out.

I have some wells right on the south shores, shes open there... really open...I woukd be VERY surprised to see the boat launch iced over anymore... (9 c forecasted for sat!!!!)
