Kanaskis lakes or spray?

Hope Every ones open water season has been treating them good so far.

Anyways we just picked up a 14 John boat last week and are anxious to get it out. We're heading out Tomorow morning and debating on either going to one of the kanaskis lakes or spray.

I've some time on these lakes on the ice, but nothing on open water.

Just curious should we look deep like jiggin through the ice or shallow and spin. Unfortuonalty nothin for down riggin yet. But hopefully soon.

If you go to Spray, just run a 3 way swivel and go down at least 40ft.

Be careful. You have a Jon boat. When the winds pick up stick to the shores. Easier swim.

Mornings and evenings are the best as there is a low possibilitie that the winds will not be strong.
