Pembina river fishing tomorrow

Im heading to Pembina river tomorrow at the provicial park. I have never caught a fish from the rivver. whats me best bet? Bait and pickeral rig?

if the water is low and clear, walk in up to your knees and cast towards the mouth of the lobstick. use jigs, rapalas, if its not clear, use a bait rig.... watch out for tubers if its hot.

I honest to god get good luck with just a parkers on a hook with a little weight a foot up

Both bait and lures work great. We use smacker jogs as they walk over the rocks and dont snag as bad. We use Yum and Berkly Powerbait twister tails and lately Black, or a Black/white swirl works good. The GFs kid has been doing good on the second last trip on black body, clear tail with metal flake.
