Is there anyone that might know of a number i could get to reach the biologist of the hinton area. I dont want to go asking other members randomly and asking about some sensitive water bodies. I'd like to get in touch with someone who would know the extent of fish pops + winterkill and summerkill probabilities and confirmations.
I know speck probably has a good idea, of the information im after. Just want a couple batches of info.
Thanks guys.

Karl retired years ago. Call 780-723-8244 and ask for George S. He is the senior fisheries biologist.

Don't want to ask here?
I'll help you out...
If you ask if lake ''A'' winterkilled and the answer is ''we slayed them there last week'' . That means fish haven't winter or summer killed.
If you ask if theres any fish left in lake ''B'', and you get a bunch of ''haven't heard a fish being caught or anybody fishing it for 15 years'' , then that probably means its dead. :scared0018:
All kidding aside...I agree the ''locals that know'' may well be as versed as the biologists
