I wish to go night fishing this Friday, and I prefer to not go alone, due to obvious dangers of being alone in the dark with desperate crackheads mulling around the bushes looking for food, or the obvious, getting hurt with no help. Anyone down for some late night fishin? Btw, I do smoke, both.

I went last Saturday after a heated discussion with the wife. The water was really low and never even got a bite. But then I went to the casino and won 600 bucks so it was a good night lol

Not sure how productive "Night" fishing will be but fishing the witching hour is usually productive............ Where are you planning on going?

It can be surprisingly productive night fishing for walleye in the NSR this time of year :)

Now I understand how its done on a lake, but is there any special technique that is prefered for night time in the river?
Do they a rattling hook? Rattlin rap?
Or is a still fished bait rig a better choice.
I have fished til midnight a couple times but the fish usually seem to be gone an hour or so after sunset.
Never fished past 8 or 9 this time of year............. Maybe its time to pul an all nighter.

well I'll get home around 8 pm, and I can pretty much go anywhere on the NSR within city limits. But i will be biking.
