Anyone know any spots around Red Deer that are open and free of ice, Im itchin to get out big time

I'm not sure if the ice is off yet but dickson trout pond would be good. Or clearwater river is ice free.

Michichi Dam, north of Drumheller is open. Haven't fished it yet this spring. It's stocked yearly with rainbow. That would be about an hour and half east of Red Deer. I'm sure most of the trout ponds listed in the regulations for south central Alberta would be open.

im from alix, and ive been fishing at the north raven river near caroline (awesome brown fishing) and the trout ponds in lacombe and tees, headed out to mirror tomorrow.

oh man i am so dying for the Red Deer River opener. Rocky Mountain whitefish WILL be slain!!!!!
