Yesterday was one of those days you wait for all season; water levels perfect, weather sunny and warm, river crystal clear, pools emerald green and fish looking up for dinner. Fished a favorite section of the Wildhay pretty much exclusively with stimmulators, foam hoppers and Chernobyl Ants. The grayling were looking up all afternoon.

Got into the odd bull trout to keep it interesting.

Boy it would be great to have this type of river conditions all year!

great pics thankx. all our rivers are glassing up. even trout on the upper RDR are looking up for dinner.

Thanks for the nice comments. It's tough to take a bad picture of a grayling in our clear rivers and when they have their fin extended...they are a beautiful fish.
