PCR pike

A buddy of mine said he went to PCR last week, and 2 bays south of the dock they couldn't keep the pike off the hook if they wanted to! only catching the odd walleye, and 20-30 pike each, smaller sized. He's not a hardcore fisher, and I'm wondering at the validity of his claims. anyone had a similar experience?

If he did he would be the first. PCR has some nice pike but not tons of them. Just my experience.

I figure he's BSing or confusing them with walleye

Tonnes of pike in there!! Probably some of the biggest in ab too

I'm gonna try it with a fly rod sometime. anyone care to share their favorite spots from shore for the chance at some pike?
