Couple suckers including a 7 pounder, then a half dozen eyes landed, and a bunch more LDR's. New spinning tiger rod is slowly getting warmed up. Liked Fishergrrrl's big walleye so much I decided to catch one of my own. new rod and third walleye 30 inches or better this season! :sHa_shakeshout: 30 inches on the nose, (and tail) and 13 and 1/4 inch girth. sent her back to make more pigs, and kept a 22 incher for dinner, and man it was good! pics uploading, (lots) took this video of the release, she doesnt look as big as she was with the camera angle, but believe me she was a true 30 incher. figure 8 or 9 pounds, scale battery is dead as usual. pics to follow eventually, heres the video first. came back to eat my foot 3 times before I warned her off. water was around 6 inches or so deep so I ended up getting my feet wet to get her out there. Where did I catch her? right on that rock pile on my tips thread :bad_boys_20:

Yup. I'll give up and she will stay on the water. This year the pos motor would'nt work so she rowed around beaver mines. NUTS

Nice!
Had a good day at Red Deer River today. 6 different species in 5 hours, love that river! 2 keeper walleye, 3 small burbot, 6 goldeye, 1 mooneye, little sauger and few shorthead redhorses.
Smoker will be busy tomorrow:)

congrats had a pretty rough day here, I caught a walleye it wasn't huge maybe 1' but on the way in 2 otters grabbed it, so I was in a tug of war with 2 otters and one very unhappy fish, I ended up knocking my hook out of its mouth and as if to taunt me the otters popped up with it 20' from shore.

remember you cant count them unless you get them in the net :sHa_sarcasticlol:
I was fishing Phyliss Lake one time trying to catch perch, and three otters kept popping up right in front of me, with a perch every time. Guess I need to learn how to swim to catch those fish!

I know but its the only thing I caught all day so I have to atleast give myself the possibility that I would have gotten it to shore had those otters not intervened.

I thought you did'nt like anyone saying where they were fishing. I still have'nt seen you at any of the spots we fish.I'm sure you don't have a clue where we are at.And for as much as I've said we were on the Oldman we still don't see a soul every time out.By the way thats not the S.S.R.
