Anyone interested? Last year was fun with about 15 of us showing up and a good time had by all. If you want to do it again, sign off here. Just 3 or 4 hours - a pub - and a good time. Meet some new friends to hit the ice with this winter!!!

But lousy parking. I liked Tipperary's last time.

We need central-ish, with a good space for a large (20-ish) group, plenty of free parking, decent prices.

Riverbend station in Riverbend. Close to Deerfoot and Glenmore, not that bad for someone coming from Okotoks or from the north end of town. Kind of a mid point for those 2 locations. Staff set out an area and put tables together for gatherings like this.

I like this idea. Its a nice place, and I'm sure it would be accomodating. What does everyone think? Just off glenmore trail. If you take transit - super easy to get to from chinook station.

And howz about we do a kris kringle type thingy or a x-mass gift swap, theres a name for it, where you can pick a gift or take one chosen by someone else. And all gifts are $15 and fishing related (no joke gifts),,, last years turnout was really good.

There was some push for a gear exchange earlier in the year. I'm sure we all have a few things we'd like to pass along.
