Last trip of the year to the Shuswap

Headed out today for 6 days of fishing in the shuswap, then need to winterize and put the boat to bed. Hopefully the fish will be biting. I hate this time of year.

Good luck! was there the end of august. Did pretty well. 65 feet/watermelon apex/130 fow. caught a nice 25" rainbow. They are prolly a little higher in the water column now. Regards.

For some reason can't upload pics from my phone. Another 2 great days of fishing, biggest rainbow was 26 inches. Total rainbows so far 14 and 3 lakers. Morning fish tomorrow and then pulling the boat out for winterizing. Very sad

A cuple were like a football, most were pretty good and a couple of sleek ones, must be the water temp, they are putting up real good fights, even the lakers are pretty scappy
