almost any river or stream that runs out of the mountians that can support fish will most likely have these.

Welcome to the forum.

They are found in Jacenbeers smoker, my skillet, most rivers, and many reservoirs in AB.

Especially common in the foothills and mountains.

Caught a few this weekend on the fly. They are pre-staging for the spawn.

They are pretty much everywhere except my smoker right now because I have eaten everything I have caught. It is almost time to get some more. Lake white season is upon us though.

They are in the athabaska river system like mentioned by Speckle 55. They are also in the saskatchewan river system(north and south), the red deer river system too. I have caught Rockies even in Edmonton on the N.Sask. river in February where the river doesn't freeze in some parts. Rockies like white , like white flies or white maggots. bottom fished. They do like current too.
