Yea, leeches are in short supply. I was lucky enough to grab the last 5 packs from "Cheap Seats" in Athabasca. I'm treating them like gold. I tried catching some but I think it might be too late in the year for that.

Just checked my bait fridge and discovered that a half dozen leeches, remnants of a half pound purchased in late July, are still twisting in the pool, a covered container full of pond water changed more than a month ago.

Same thing as a styrofoam box of 18 dew worms bought at the same time. Must like it in my basement.

Never had them last this long!
