purchasing urgently needed medical equipment for what?

This was shared a couple weeks ago on the main page by his family.
Maybe PM grandslamer - his handle is being used by family members and they could give you more info.

My signature says a bit more - that was posted with Permission of James himself.

UPDATE
Just to update everyone on grandslamers condition
He ended up in hospital unfortunaly the antibiotics didn't have the effect we had hope for and on top of all the other problems he has they had to remove his leg
He seems to be in good cheer but I think it's reAl hard on him and he is putting on a brave front
So now more then ever it's important that this fund raiser is a success so if your able plesae try to attend and purchase advanced ticket
Thanks

Thanks for the info. I can understand it was for a good cause to begin with, but sometimes specifics help. Good causes have been used to scam people before. Wish I could attend and help out, but it's a bit far.
