Stupid snow! :mad0100:

I know it had to come eventually, but it still feels like it's too soon! I'm guessing that we've still got at least 2-3 weeks of open water fishing before ice becomes an issue, and shortly after that some of the ponds should be okay if a person is brave enough.

Might have to dust off the ice gear from last season and start getting some stuff ready to go :o

We've still got weeks before there's even sketchy ice to fish on around here. Looks like we're just going to have to keep fishing the NSR til then :cool:

Don't count on it Geezle. Long range forecast next week, -16 for a low one day.
Once it starts there's no turning back till March!

It's coming, :sHa_shakeshout::sHa_shakeshout:

I will start getting the ice gear ready right after Boo! day.

By the way, I got a little sley with child size snow skeis on it. Anyone want it? Free, Free! PM me. I will try to post pics in the buy sell. N.E Edmonton

Well, yesterday afternoon I met up with YeeHaw and we headed down to one of my favorite little spots on the river for a little fishing. It was slow going at first, but we managed a couple fish and got a nice little fire going.

AppleJax showed up a little before it got dark, and from that point on the fishing really took off. All said and done, we got a bunch of walleye, as well as a goldeye, a pike, and a slimy little burbot thrown in there for variety.

As always it was a good evening of catching fish and shooting the shyt with the guys :)

No real great pics but I was kind of shooting at everything trying to figure out the camera on my new phone! :lol:
