Headed to my home town saskatoon for some serious bird hunting before the freeze up. 2 hunts went ok. First hunt we had livestock get out on our field and ruin some of the hunt with farmers ripping around trying to get there cows back. lol. we had to scare some away as we were hunting. lol. 2 geese and 11 ducks. Next morning got limit of ducks.
Anyways get to the fishing part for you guys. Went fishing in saskatoon for a couple hours. 3 eyes 32, 30, 29.5 inch i got a pic of the big girl. The 32 inch eye was FAT. Dief the next night for burbs and landed 10, biggest 9lbs. No pics. sorry. Here is the pic of the big girl and friends biggest. My friend seen the 3 biggest eyes of his life that night. lol.:sHa_shakeshout:

Was that right in Saskatoon? One of my favorite spots growing up was at the weir on Spadina. Or down from Archibald arena.

Got to love those fall eyes.Fishinggeek do you think there are some record eyes in that lake.

Got to love those fall eyes.Fishinggeek do you think there are some record eyes in that lake.. Were fishing in the south sask river right in saskatoon. As for recordN world record no. Prov record yes. Reports of 20lb. 39inch eyes. From this system. That are netted in the spawning nets of dief.

Always loved fishing by the good old Archibald arena, between the sandbar and Arena always produced some great fishing
