I am considering buying a boat but don't have any place to store it (no large garage, driveway, back alley, etc.). So I am looking for a storage lot. I figure there must be lots of guys here paying for storage. What are things I should be watching for in a yard? Things to avoid? I've done a bit of research and $30-$50/month seem common. Is this about right? Can anyone recommend a good company? Any companies I should stay away from? I'm green in this situation so appreciate any help or advice at all.

Thanks in advance,

Garry

Looking for boat storage as well, cold storage is fine. Does anyone have room in there back 40?

There is another member on here that stores Rv ( and I'm assuming boats) just outside of sherwood park, north if the yellowhead I think, hopefully he will see this.

There is a fellow near Leduc that has an acreage. Safe & reasonable; $35 a month I think. Let me know if you want his number
