went fishing with a few forum members here, caught a 12 inch burb myself, and another caught ~6lb fat burb.

Nice burb Ogre

We'll have to try again a few more times and catch one giant mother.

I'll pick up some real firewood this week.

BTW. That burb had 4 more burbs in it's belly!

I had fun last night boys. We should definitely go out again next Friday. The fat burbot in the picture tasted fantastic.

Yup, we got the other half simmering in a Burb Tagine.

I pulled the otoliths out and put them under the scope.

My estimate is that male is in his 8th or 9th year.

Past tense,,, as in his 8th or 9th year,,,, would now be, was in his 8th or 9th year,,, however, he is now being digested.

Ao conditions the best of us to bad spelling and such.

He is still in his 8th or 9th year.

He's just not going to make it to his 10th due to a poor choice in forage.

Close by, but a bit further out to sea. Skiwili and I were rigged up for Bull Sharks given that they spawn in the delta this time of year.

They were nibbling but couldnt get any to commit.
