My dad and I plan to do some shore fishing at sauer on sunday , is it still doable ? Thanks!

Very doubtful. Right now is the in-between time where most of the ponds have a layer of ice on it so you can't shore fish, but not enough ice to even think about walking on.

Your best shore fishing option right now would probably be to hit the NSR with a pickerel rig (ugh!) and a tub of minnows in the evening.

Every pond I drove past today was frozen over.

I drove by Coal Lake today and with the exception of the culvert the whole thing North and South was frozen over!

forget chicapoo and sauer but you might be able to fish salter cause of the aereator. if you try it let us know.

me and the women were at salter last wed it was fine from shore a lil iced up but that just hardened the shore lines so we were not standing in mud
