Just talked to the wife and she said that the ice is off Beaver this morning,,, quite the surprise.. I would have bet a thousand bucks those lakes were staying frozen for a while... Geuss they can't take the heat... There will be a pile of happy boys around home thats for sure...

Thanks! I was figuring it would be down to the wire. Thank goodness the weather turned this week.

I'm going to be fishing FloatingStone on Saturday catching many pike with as many different techniques and lures as possible. Starting with the 5 o diamonds. Not sure where on Sunday....depends on the wind.

Well I hope the wind dies down otherwise its going to be a wet in the boat. I might just have to fish from shore if thats the case.But I know ill be fine.My boat is booze free and I can swim .

On saturday the wind is only supposed to be 10 - 15 km. Hoping thats what its going to be. Not 35 - 45 km, but it is supposed to get windier on sunday.
