Shoal/Nipisi

Anybody have any experience with these lakes thru the ice. I plan on giving them a try this winter. Any hazards one should consider? Also if anybody has any good directions or a staging area they are willing to share thatd be great. Pm if you prefer to keep them private. Good luck and heres to a safe icefishing season.

I've inquired about Nipisi before but no one has much info. However, I have seen some pics of pike coming out in March and they were...large

Nipisi is a good lake for big Pike it is usually safe around mid Dec.We go on with atvs or snowmoblies. The pike love the rattle raps with scent sprayed on them.

Is there anywhere thats suitable for staging along the highway or where do you usually start? Any luck with walleyes or perch in there? Is it a cutline ride into or are there lease roads to follow in? Im not looking for somebody to do all my work i just need a point in the right direction

This will my 3rd year at nipisi. Big pike, and I even got into some nice eyes last year
