They should close perch for two seasons and let them come back and get bigger. JMO.
Hey close all lakes all fish for two seasons. All catch and release for two seasons. Do that every couple of years or so. JMO.

Can't wait till lake isle opens again for some jumbos.

Yes lets close the seasone for 2 years, The ones that are fished out. i fish saskatchewan and 95% of the plates are red at the lake, It has hurt the meadow lake provincal park with the pressure huge the last few years, They need to lower the limit to accomidate the fishing pressure,
How about open some other lakes and manage them properly,

Just wondering what you guys consider jumbo perch. Back east you have to try and keep them off the line when fishing for something else. When I left the daily limit was 100 a day there were so many

I caught a lot of decent perch in this one lake last year. Probably going again this year... Took me my own time to find them.

Yep. Always huntin bass and hookin perch. When you're too drunk to take the boat out, sit on any dock anywhere out there and you've got a new one on every 30 seconds. I don't think I ever actually saw a daily limit. I've never eaten one, though I hear good things.

can't wait to hit Hasse this seazon...
all you gotta use is a big thick treble hook size 5/0 with 3 walmart chickens hanging from each treble and there ya go...,
don't forget about the rod belt and strap your ars to the ice, so you don't get pulled through the hole :)
experience of a LIFE TIME !!!

It's also advisable to have a lanyard to a tree on shore incase they decide the ram the ice under your feet and break it.
