Go pro and IPhone App

Has anyone tried to use the go pro hero2 with the iPhone app? I tried getting my running last night, and it works, but only partially. I can control the camera and see the preview of what it is shooting on my phone, but when I try to go into the settings menu, my iPhone locks up.......any one else have this problem? If so, were you able to fix it?

There has only been one update since the release and it screwed up the app. I used it perfectly fine with my ipod. And the distance is pretty accurate. Tried a vertical climb with my multicopter and shows almost bang on. May either have to wait for another app update or try freeing up some memory or space in your phone.
