100 zone's not open until Nov.7th

I was bow hunting this weekend in zone 104 and herd a few rifle shots. Came across 2 gut piles right by the road as well. With the exception of zone 166, the Rifle season in all the 100 zones does not start until November 7th. I ran into a guy at a gas station that said he was successful this weekend in a 100 zone. Once i informed him that the season was not open yet he said i did not know what i was talking about. I have double checked and it was definitely not open for rifle hunting. Just a word of caution, It would be an easy mistake that could easily end up in a fine and a suspension.

Good grief, is it really that hard for people to check the seasons in the regs? I know its the first thing I do every year. I'm surprised the fish cops haven't been out full force checking for exactly this (although I guess they can only do so much given their limited resources). Good job for at least trying to educate the guy even if it fell on deaf ears.
