I got here last fall, and I'm really getting the itch to get a line in the water! I'm originally from Portage La Prairie Manitoba. I have fished my whole life, especialy for big channel cats from the river bank. Does the N. Sask. River have a wide variety of species,and if so where are some good spots to head? Any Info would be very appreciated, I'm looking forward to heading out in this great province.

welcome to the form :wave: lots of lakes around edmonton as well as some good fishing on the north sask (NSR) you will see it called that alot on here. lots of guys fish it so someone will have the info you need..
