all the little perch you want, 10" is reachable knowledge of small local structures are key. see you out there at some point thru the hard water . a good spot can produce a limit of almost keepers in an evening bite.

find 20 ish fow move around ,use charts to find structure. I start at 22' then move shallow as the light drops usually end up abt 18' as the bite tapers off. the big flat on the west side holds lots of fish.

do not approach burnstick from the camp ground at the east many springs and shallow water with movement in the narrows . go a little further north 1 k and use the village ramp. even then if you dont know the lake be careful other springs make them selves known at early ice. the perch are a little larger on burnstick ime and easier to find.

You can catch TONS of perch at Phyllis, my record is 83 in one day but they are all pretty small.

Was at burntstick on Friday and had a good couple hours full of perch. There was atleast 3-3.5 inches of good clean ice and another couple inches of cloudier ice on top. Was a beautiful day and had lots of action but the biggest were 7-8 inches

Agreed, lots of perch in Burnstick but very few over 5". We caught dozens and saw hundreds on the fish cam but didn't see anything bigger. It's a blast if you go w/ little kids!
