Opening day of rifle season in my area today
Got out to my #3 spot because the #1 and #2 spots had trucks in front of them
I started jumping deer as soon as I left the truck and climbed up onto the coulee edges to glass and look for some deer and I spotted this guy about 500 yards below me on the edge of some buck brush.
I slid down on my butt to a better vantage point where I could get a good rest and lay flat prone.
The shot was about 275 yards and the sound of the 120 grain out my Tikka 25 cal made a loud slap as it hit him in the chest.
The rest is history. 8)
