Wolf question

Ok I'm sitting with my neighbour talking about wolves and hunting them.... He and his friend say I need a special tag for wolf.... His friend is going to area 511 and 512 and said he bought a tag for wolf!!!!

Can someone please clear this up for me!!!

Only non residents need to buy a tag for wolves I believe. I know for a fact that as a resident you only need your wildlife cert.

I don't even think you need your wildlife certificate!

If in fact one does need a license,I am in big big trouble. Might have to go hide the hummer.

You no longer need the wildlife certificate to hunt wolves as an Alberta resident in Alberta.
