There are racoons down in Fish Creek Park, I havent seen them but the CO's I was taking to said they are around.

no kidding. I always thought we had a few (racoons) maybe creeping around, but this is interesting. maybe I'll toss some bait in Fish Creek, set up a trail cam and see what comes along.

Apparently down around the buildings near the parking lot off of Bannister Rd and Macleod Trail they have a few hanging around...

Brother in law just blasted a racoon 2 weeks ago on a pheasant hunt down by medicine hat, the sucker weighed around 40 pounds. He's gonna stuff him.

About 40 yrs ago, my father's daschund killed a large boar racoon in our farmyard, near Humboldt, Sask. The dog was somewhat worse for wear, but you should have seen the 'coon!!! He also had more than one go round with badgers. He would go into the badger den to check it out. He also would check out any fox or coyote den that he & Dad might have come across. There were more than one fox kit or coyote pup dead in our yard. I would add that the dog had no fear of anything, even to the point of having whipped up a Doby.
