I know the grizzly hunt was suspended in 2006 for Alberta, but in Pincher Creek country, there was a two bear harvest for a couple of years after 2006?

I just needs the barebones, or a link. Having trouble finding online.

I didnt know about that.. You sure?

I thought and I could be wrong, they shut down GBear hunting in Southern Alberta before they shut down the whole province?

It was shut down province wide all at the same time.

I'm 99% sure there were one or two animals allowed just in this corner after 2006, but maybe I'm losing my mind. (Which really wouldn't surprise me a whole lot!)

This is driving me crazy. Seriously.

No idea why I have it in my head, but there it is anyway.

I know of one bear that was shot by a native two years ago. :(

Are you confused with a self defense g bear that was shot down there. Or an actual legal hunt harvest , cause I don't think there was any after the closure.

gbear was shot in the spring of this year i think.

Don't think so. Limit on Grizzlies was only one, even when there was a general two season hunt. Not confusing with two blacks in some zones, are you ?

No, I meant that I thought that there were one or two tags available annually specifically in the Twin Butte area for one or two years after the the hunt was ended in 2006 in the rest of the province.


I mean, if it's not true, I must have had a dream about it. That's how real it seems. Weird, right?
