For all you people wundering if theres elk around highway 63 well heres your answer. Shot his guy on monday My biggest elk so far. Anbody no of a good elk taxadermest around edmonton? Any info would be great Thanks.

Congrats. As I said on the other thread they are around and you obviously have them dialled in. I have to focus on them more as that region is my main stomping grounds since I went to high school up there.

I guess that a lot of us that travel 63 regularly don't really think about being on 63 until we turn North by Grasslands, and head into the great abyss. It's that part of 63 that everyone seems to dread. I never give the part of 63 South of that, much thought, but apparently there are some good elk in that area.

He's a beauty for sure regardless of what he scores! The difference between a 325 bull and a 350 bull is 2"...... Add 2" to the tine length and main beams (and 2" ain't much) and you have a 350" bull.

Very, Very nice. I also agree with you ElkHunter about #63 and forgot about the southern part. Have hunted both sides of the Northern part and never saw anything like that.

I'd guess the score to be around 300 without the spread. Congrats on a great elk.
