This Morning

So how did everyone do this morning? I had a late night so I slept in through the alarm clock and got out at 830 AM. It was -27 and not a single deer any where!

Going to push some little bushes this afternoon hoping for something and then settle down for the evening hunt!

Drank a cup of coffee, went to get some toast out of the garage freezer and then decided I would rather dream of deer. Went back to bed. Maybe I'll go this evening.......this warm sofa and cozy fire seem more inviting though :thinking-006:maybe next week when it is warmer........(what a hunter I am lol)

We pushed three locations and nothing but 1 coyote. Tomorrow will be different.

Got up, checked AO, started working (I can do that mostly from home), fired up the wood fireplace, and have been enjoying it.

I think I'll go out on Monday again - when it's supposed to be a bit warmer!

Agreed! Seems like a very nice day to sit inside for some reason even though it is the first sunny day in awhile.

Saw quite a few deer this morning, however only two had horns. One was a tiny two point, while the other was a small three. Good to see the population slowly starting to recover, as the last couple of seasons around here have seen brutally low numbers.

Went out to 318 this morning. Lots of white tails and mules. Seen a decent 4 point WT but couldn't line up a decent shot.

Hunted 312 starting at 645 AM. Got to my spot and a buck spooked out of the brush and was on the run immediately and that was the only shooter I saw all day. I saw 6 different moose. Only one was a bull.

1 coyote...called in and shot.

Didnt seen anything till 2pm. 1 big WT doe. Seen lots on the drive home. right at sunset and a little after. Better luck in the AM, i guess:budo:

The day went uphill from this morning! pushed some bush and managed to shoot a buck and a doe!

Not the buck that I wanted but I guess I got caught up in the excitement and shot the one that came out:bad_boys_20:

Was just a little 5 pointer with a busted brow tine and another tine!

We got a 44 inch bull this am....saw piles of does today, no bucks

All private land. I have my elk draw but no decent bulls and after waiting 8 years for a tag I can't bring myself to shoot a spiker just yet....
