New ice rod

Well got a new ice rod today bought a rapala ice series medium action 28" with a sufix ice magic 4lb line at wholesale sports in calgary better than last year it lasted 10 minutes on the ice then the handle on the reel sapped off took it back to the store in town and got a refund used the summer rods the rest of the season :sign0176: so hopefully this one holds up better

Its always good to have a spare ice rod or 2.....or 3 or 6 or 8....:)

What do you use, tip ups, sticks, spool of line? I have tried and still use all these methods.

I do alright..

I use tip ups and hand fish a spool of line
