Anyone know ice thicknesses for figure 8 or stoney lakes? 3 nights 2 days of decently cold weather up here hoping to get out there sometime during the week. I guess if no one knows I'll be letting you all know what I find.

Just got back from Stoney. 5-6" of ice, I drilled through a crack and had no issues. Caught 6, kept 2 brook trout in 2 hours. http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u631/Wesley_Buie/IMAG0091_zpsb81997de.jpg
Forgot my camera at home.

Went back out to Stoney Lake this morning. Leisurely day, didn't get to the lake until about 9:45am. Drilled a new hole beside my old one got setup and before you know it, had a fish on. They were hungry today, brought 21 brook trout and one very nice rainbow onto the ice, lost 2 in the hole and had another big one break my hook off at about 12:30pm. Couple keepers on the ice and frozen hands I decided to call it and get my errands done before work starts tomorrow.
I remember my camera this time, here's the big girls.
My biggest brookie of the day.

That bobber is one of the light up varieties for size reference. Or the size 10 Sorel boot tracks.
