Nice work... at least you didn't have anything floppin on the ice in the picture. I'm always surprised that there aren't tons of people on the ice. I mean fishing is usually pretty slow, so maybe that is why. But it is close to home and who doesn't like getting out on the ice?

oh my! the worst kept secret is out. have at it boys and girls. they all winterkill anyway so why not have some fun? it's a great way to tune up for the months ahead but a tiny bit of advice> herm. trout are just as tricky to catch as any other lake and you can fall through the ice same as any other lake.
still early, but it looks like hard water season is on. show me some pics!
