ice report

Went out yesterday East of Edmonton to check on the ice. A solid 5" of ice. I didn't drop a line, 5" isn't enough for me to venture to far out. Hopefully next weekend there will be a little more ice. I'm getting anxious to get fish!!!

5" on foot should be plenty. I'm behind the times, if most of the ponds are running that much ice, it's time for me to get my gear together and get out.

I've been to 3 bodies of water now and they all have around 5" of ice, but of that only around 2" of that is good clear ice and the rest is questionable white stuff...
