This is back a few years when the kids were a bit younger.
Nice rainbows and brookies.

I would like to get more brookies but it is hard to find places that hold them. Great fighters and awesome colors.
I herd you had a very successful outing at CV. Any pics?

If you want to catch some brookies, head up to Elbow Lake in K-Country. It's about a km or a bit more from Highway 40 and it is full of brookies. They don't get big because they are stunted from over population, but their colors are usually nice and they are eager to bite usually. It's a very pretty lake / hike as a bonus.

I agree with Scott about Elbow Lake. Went up there last August and the fishing was awesome. The fish are small, 8"-10", but are fun to catch. About an hour before sunset you can see them jumping eveywhere. I will definitely be there again this year. It is a 1.3 k.m. hike up a fairly steep path, but well worth it.

Hey there Ron, Yeah Crawling was pretty good, found a spot with a load of eyes, spawned out and kinda sluggish- one went 30", couldnt keep the snot rockets off though!!I think we are gonna go get some walleye draws, we know where there are a few huge ones hanging out in one of the draw lakes. I will come see you on Monday, I've got a hot tip or two I would like to share!!
