One of the most impressive fish for supper threads I've seen in awhile!

Was a good night for sure! caught 7 in two hours then bite completely died!

Fun while it lasted, my buddy managed two but one was a lil guy so he went back. I figured after i got my 3 and my buddy got a good keeper we would just stay till the bite died. So thats what we did!

Lobster used to be poor man's food.......and they call burbot poor mans lobster, so burbot is what the poorest of the poor eat? hahah funny how the poor used to have to suffer with lobster, bet they didnt even have butter......

yup buffalo by stettler. I Got my first beauty burb last year from there 10.5lbs it had a ft long pike in its belly!

Yes, it's legal to use setlines for burbot in region 6 of BC where I used to live and that's how I caught them in the summer.
