First Iced Fish of the year

Wanted to check ice thickness so I figured I'd bring a rod along just incase it was thick enough. I don't like to walk out till at least 6" out there, just playin it safe.
Didn't have much time out there, but did get one. Ice was 7" thick. Glad the ice is here to stay!

With the cold weather we are having down here, hopefully we get that extra 4-5" of ice I feel is needed to hold up my full sized man frame. :)
