Just wondering I know some guys that were out at the beginning of the week. Hard to get down the trails and some roads. Just wondering if the situation has improved at all. Looking to head out again on saturday to give it another shot at calf moose.

I was at the base today. The roads are fine, but the snow is deep if you plan on leaving the road.
Seen lots of moose but only seen 2 deer in two days.

i drove up hwy 41 today. there was a herd of 11 mules along the hwy north of the big tower and south of white route. there was a decent buck....165ish. they were feeding calmly about 2 oclock....maybe 3/4 of a mile north of the tower and 100 yards off the fireguard.

Nice to here the roads aren't to bad my son an i are going out in the morning . First time on the base . We both have elk draws. Thanks for the info good luck
