the short story, I wanted to take down a big bull, I spent sept. calling, a lot of spot and stalk with the bow. October rolled in, the bulls were still ruttin, but not answering, due to wolves in the area. Oct 10th I ventured out, 4" of fresh snow, -5 temps, with no wind, I called, waited an hour, moved up a mile, did the same thing, got on some fresh tracks played tag with him for 2 hours, finally after 6 miles of moving, calling and waiting, he stepped out in an opening, I looked at my bow, thought for a split second, decided I better use my rifle, he was at 80 yards with spruce trees around him, put the crosshairs on him, bang, perfect head shot, down he went, snapped a couple pics, sent 80 some pic texts, then the work started, or rather a long walk back to the argo! With fresh snow on the ground, I used the argo to get him back to camp round, a day I will remember for a long long time
